Signature Assignment
Making The Most Of Life
Presentation
I’m going to tell a little about myself. I am 27 years old. I have 3 children, ages 8, 3, and 1. I was married and had my first child at 19 years old. I work full time at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center and go to college. I was raised by my mother who has some college back ground but did not complete a degree. My father was a high school dropout. My mother pushed me through high school but never pushed me into college. I was the first child to graduate high school out of both sides of our family and that was good enough for my mother. I have come a long way in life and I have completed many goals already.
Making the most of my life includes being a great mother, setting examples for my children, and accomplishing the remaining large goals I have. My number one goal is completing college and having the career that I want. I believe that looking into a college is a great start to finding out what we want in life for a career. Many families are different. Some think school has no use for life or is a waste of time and money, some feel school can move you up in the world.
Getting through school can be a challenge. School is hard for me because I have to work a full time job to pay for school, daycare, and the cost of living but I know in the long run it will pay off. It will bring me happiness and strength.
I am happy I am attending college. It will take time and effort to get through but in the end I will graduate knowing I made a difference for myself and my family.
